Flipping can change your life.

Picture this…

It’s 2:19 PM on Wednesday afternoon. Your obnoxious coworker is going off about how awesome he is at his job. He’s chirping your ear off, so you get up to use the bathroom, counting down the minutes until you can go home. You come back to check your email, Twitter, Instagram etc. when you notice a PayPal notification for $100 dollars! WTF!

What a tremendous feeling to receive midway though the day. This may seem too good to be true, or even unrealistic, right? Well, this scenario is actually very possible for people willing to do a little research.

This exact situation actually happened to me, and the feeling was amazing. Now the obvious question that you are going to ask is, “How did you do it?”

This is where I introduce one of my favorite side hustles-Flipping.

Flipping, also known as arbitrage, is basically buying items and goods that are undervalued and then reselling them for a higher price. How is this possible? Well, there are plenty of people out there selling items for cheap that have no idea the actual worth of these items. I’ll dive into the specifics shortly.

Before I continue, my first suggestion is to grab The Art of Flipping by Joe Hart. Joe is the best of the best when it comes to flipping. He has developed a very detailed guide that will make you ELITE at this practice. He has taught hundreds of people how to increase their income. It’s a no-brainer, get it.

Okay, lets continue…

You may have heard of people flipping real estate, but that’s not what I am talking about here. I am talking about consumer products that you find in the average persons home. You don’t need a crazy amount of money to do this either.

Flipping has gained some popularity over the past few years thanks to
Gary Vaynerchuck, better known as GaryVee on social media. Gary is all about the hustle, and inspires young adults to maximize their potential.

Watch him turn $75 of Pins and Hot Wheels Cars into over $1,000! Whoa!

Flipping helped me pay off my student loans fast. I talk about this, along with other strategies I used to pay off my debt in the Student Loan Cheat Code.

Now, lets dive into some important questions.

Who can flip items ?

Anyone! It doesn’t matter if you’re 70 years old, or if you’re 18 years old. If you have access to the internet, you are pretty much set. If you are open-minded and willing to put in the work, you can be successful with flipping. All it takes is some self-education and some effort. I’ve personally made a few thousand dollars flipping items part-time, and there are people out there making much more.

Ask Yourself-Could this extra money help you out?

What type of stuff can be flipped?

This is a tough question to answer due to the number of miscellaneous items that are flip-able. I have flipped a wide variety of items. Honestly, there are too many to name. However, some of the more popular items to flip include:

-Furniture
-Sneakers
-Antiques
-Power Tools
-Sports Equipment
-Sports Memorabilia
-Vintage and Brand Name Clothing

These are all examples of footwear I bought at Goodwill for under $20 and then resold for high profit. There is so much opportunity out there, take action!

When is the best time to flip?

There is no specific best time, but there are some tactics that will help you out. I suggest that you post items on Sunday evenings because a lot of shoppers will be at home relaxing and browsing the internet during these hours. Along with this, you can also post your items mid week (Tues-Thurs) during the same evening hours. Friday’s and Saturday’s aren’t the best because people are usually out and about.

In addition to this, try to find items prior to holidays. An example of this would be finding some Halloween themed decor 3-4 weeks prior to Halloween. People don’t want to feel left out, and there are always items out there circulating that you can make easy profit on.

Where should you look for valuables?

This is a great question. Most of my personal success has come from The Goodwill Store. Sometimes I even find brand new items there. However, there are a number of different places to look for valuables. These include:

-Yard Sales
-Garage Sales
-Moving Sales
-Flea markets
-Thrift stores
-Storage Auctions

There are so many places to find valuables, you just need to put in the effort!

Where can you resell these items?

There’s a number of different platforms that you can sell items on, but my favorite are:

-eBay
-Craigslist
-Facebook Marketplace

These are all easily accessible and super easy to navigate.

Why should you flip items?

There are so many benefits to flipping. Almost everybody could benefit from putting more money in their pocket each month. This extra money will help you eliminate current life expenses and pay off your debts. There are record highs of credit card debt, student loan debt, and car loans. This could be the answer to the financial problems you face, and ultimately remove that extra stress off of your life.

Flip Your Way Out of Debt!

In addition to this, flipping is FUN!! It’s like a treasure hunt every time you go out. You never know when you’re going to strike Gold.

How can you get started?

As I mentioned previously, grab The Art of Flipping by Joe Hart. If you want to make thousands of dollars online, this is a must have.

This guide will show you exactly how to get started and how to grow. The best part is the guide will literally pay for itself and potentially produce thousands more!! Don’t believe me? Just ask Kyle Davey who made $15,000 in 2019.

Also- I recommend following both on Twitter! They Provide tons of value!

Go Take Action

Now that you have learned a little about flipping, go out there and get started! If you have extra bills, a car note, loans, or any other type of expense hanging over your head, this could be the answer to those problems.

There are always ways to make money, you just have to put in the effort!
